Kendal and District Angling Club (KDAC) was formed in 1976 and is dedicated to coarse fishing. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty the Club is fortunate to control some scenic, quiet unspoilt waters. It actively promotes the social side of the sport with regular competitions and matches.

The fisheries under our control are Banks Pond at Old Hutton which is an excellent fishery recently restocked with some double figure carp after the installation of an otter fence.

An agreement with British Waterways gives KDAC fishing rights on the Lancaster canal from Stainton to Tewitfield providing an excellent natural fishery with good stocks of Carp, Tench, Pike , Perch, Roach and Bream.

Our membership runs from January 1st to December 31st.

KDAC also offers members exchange permits with Ribchester And District Angling club.
